About the Torque to Horsepower Calculator

Horsepower measures the rate at which an engine can do work, combining both torque (rotational force) and engine speed (RPM). A high-torque, low-RPM engine and a low-torque, high-RPM engine can produce the same horsepower.

Formula: Horsepower = (Torque in N·m × RPM) ÷ 7,127

Commonly used by automotive and motorsport enthusiasts to estimate an engine's power output from a torque curve and rev range.
