About the Best Value Calculator

Bigger packages aren't always the better deal. This calculator divides each option's price by its quantity (make sure both use the same unit of measure) to find the true per-unit cost.

Formula: Unit Price = Price ÷ Quantity for each option; the option with the lower unit price wins, and the savings percentage compares the two unit prices.

Use it to compare bulk versus regular sizes, store brands versus name brands, or any two options priced differently for different amounts.
