About the GMAT Score Estimator

The real GMAT uses an adaptive, item-response-theory algorithm that weighs question difficulty, so no simple formula reproduces it exactly. This tool gives a rough, simplified estimate for practice-test planning only.

Formula: Estimated Score = 200 + (Average of Verbal % Correct and Quant % Correct ÷ 100) × 600, rounded to the nearest 10 and capped between 200 and 800.

Use it to get a ballpark sense of where a practice-test performance might land, not as an official score prediction.
