About the EBITDA Calculator
EBITDA adds interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization back to net income to show a company's core operating profitability, stripped of financing decisions, tax situations and non-cash accounting charges.
Formula: EBITDA = Net Income + Interest + Taxes + Depreciation + Amortization
Because it excludes capital structure and accounting choices, EBITDA is widely used to compare operating performance across companies of different sizes, debt levels and tax jurisdictions.
