About the Price-to-Sales (P/S) Ratio Calculator
The price-to-sales (P/S) ratio compares a stock's price to its revenue per share, making it useful for valuing companies with little or no earnings, where the P/E ratio isn't meaningful.
Formula: P/S Ratio = Share Price ÷ Sales (Revenue) per Share
A lower P/S ratio can suggest a stock is undervalued relative to its revenue, but P/S ignores profitability entirely, so it's best compared against companies in the same industry rather than used in isolation.
