About the Test Grade Calculator

Turning a raw score like "42 out of 50" into a percentage makes it easy to see how you performed and to compare scores across tests with different point totals.

Formula: Score % = (Correct Answers ÷ Total Questions) × 100

The letter grade uses a standard US grading scale (90%+ is an A range, 80-89% a B range, and so on). Your school or teacher may use a different cutoff, so treat the letter grade as a general guide.
