About the Descartes' Rule of Signs Calculator
Descartes' Rule of Signs counts the sign changes between consecutive nonzero coefficients of p(x) to bound the number of positive real roots, and does the same for p(−x) to bound the number of negative real roots.
Formula: possible positive real roots = sign changes in p(x), or that number minus a multiple of 2 · possible negative real roots = sign changes in p(−x), or that number minus a multiple of 2
