About the Multiplying Polynomials Calculator

Multiplying two polynomials means multiplying every term of the first by every term of the second, then combining like terms. FOIL is just the special case for two two-term binomials.

Formula: if P(x) has coefficients p₀…pₙ and Q(x) has coefficients q₀…q₞, each coefficient of the product is a sum of the pairwise products pᵢq⁏ whose exponents add to that term's degree.

Enter each polynomial's coefficients from highest degree to constant, separated by commas.
