About the New Year's Countdown Calculator
Counting down to the New Year is simply a matter of finding how far today's date is into the current year, then subtracting that from the year's total length.
Formula: Hours Remaining = (365 × 24) − Hours Elapsed Since January 1st of the Current Year
This calculator uses a standard 365-day year for simplicity, so it can be off by up to a day around leap years (like 2028 or 2032) — close enough for countdown purposes, but not a substitute for an exact calendar lookup.
